IT and Signals Training Centre

IT and Signals Training Centre is intended to conduct individual specialized training of soldiers doing voluntary military service, cadets and personel from the reserve component who did not serve military service with weapons, as well as the training of all categories of staff (from professional soldiers to officers, from active and reserve component) of the telecommunication and IT service.

The active personnel of the Centre forms the core of the Territorial Forces Signals battalion, which it forms in wartime, and in peacetime it prepares for the mobilization and battalion's operational capabilities enhancing. 

It is located in garrison Gornji Milanovac, in the barracks "Vojvoda Radomir Putnik". 

IT and Signals Training Centre comprises HQ, HQ Platoon, two training companies, Facilities Protection Platoon, Logistic Platoon and Section for Medical Protection.

Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Dražinac is the Commander of the IT and Signals Training Centre.

IT and Signals Training Centre was established on November 15, 2006 under the name of Training Centre for personnel in the fields of Signals, IT and Electronic Warfare. The Centre continues the tradition of the School for Signals.

The authority over the Centre was transferred from Telecomunication and IT Department GS SAF to Training Command on May 17, 2007. On November 30, 2007 it was transformed into Signals, IT and Electronic Warfare Training Centre.
