Day of 98th Air Force Brigade Marked

There has been a military ceremony at Military Airfield "Morava" near Kraljevo today on the occasion of the Day of the 98th Air Force Brigade, marked in memory of 28 November 1949 when the 98th Fighter-Bomber Aviation Regiment was established.
The ceremony included summarizing the results in the year behind us in front of the Brigade’s members’ ceremonial parade as well as handing awards to the best individuals, after which wreaths and flowers were laid at the airfield’s memorial.
The holiday was an opportunity to reiterate how professional, committed and competent members of the 98th Air Force Brigade were for performing the assigned tasks and how much they contributed to the development of the overall capabilities of Air Force and Air Defence.
Today’s ceremony was attended by Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, representatives from SAF units, Serbian Orthodox Church, local government bodies and institutions this Brigade cooperates with.
