Visit to Army Units in Niš

Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović has visited the T-72M Tank Battalion and the BRDM-2M Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in Niš today.
During the tour, he inspected the organization of life and work in these Army units and received reports from commanders on the state of affairs, capabilities and execution of the most important tasks.
At the “Mija Stanimirović” Barracks, he attended the implementation of training in the use and maintenance of the T-72MS tanks, their systems and assemblies, while at the “Stevan Sinđelić” Barracks, he observed the implementation of training of the armored reconnaissance patrol while using the BRDM-2MS armored reconnaissance vehicles.
On this occasion, he was able to make sure that the critical combat assets in the units were functioning properly, that the personnel were trained and motivated, and that training was well planned and conducted in accordance with the highest standards.
During today’s tour, the Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff has been accompanied by Deputy Commander of the Army Major General Slađan Stamenković.
