At the Basic Training Centers, in the next month and a half, the soldiers will be training to handle personal weapons, undertake basic tactical actions and procedures in battle and perform guard duty, while improving their physical fitness.
Afterwards, they are supposed to undergo individual specialist training, in order to spend the last three months of their military service in the Serbian Armed Forces’ units, where they will be trained to carry out collective tasks of their branch / service, while being actively involved in the execution of daily activities together with the professional staff.
Soldiers can apply for professional military service while still on their military service, after which they will go through the prescribed procedure and meet the requirements to join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately after completing their military service.
