In the Logistics Training Centre’s units, garrisons Kraljevo, Kruševac and Niš, soldiers on military service since March 2023 are currently undergoing training for logistics duties in SAF units.
At this stage of their military service, which is a month and a half long, soldiers of the logistics specialties receive theoretical and practical training needed to perform a wide variety of tasks related to technical, quartermaster, medical and transportation services.
It takes place in specially equipped study rooms, in field conditions, and with (non-) combat assets, so that soldiers could be provided with the best conditions for learning about crews’ duties, weapons and equipment basic maintenance, as well as general logistics jobs, medical care and transportation.
After specialized training, soldiers are supposed to have the skills assessment and transfer to SAF units to receive collective training until their military service is over.
The Logistics Training Centre is the place where soldiers train for over 20 military occupational logistics specialties such as cooks, bakers, drivers, medics, electro-mechanics for wheeled and tracked vehicles and mechanics for different combat systems, weapons, ammunition and mine-explosive ordnance.
