Training of the Unit Declared for Deployment in Multinational Operations

Training of a light infantry company from the Third Army Brigade, declared for deployment in multinational operations is in progress at the training grounds in the barracks "Nikola Pašić" in Zaječar.
During this training period, contents from tactical, fire and physical training, international humanitarian law are conducted and techniques and procedures for proper conduct during deployment in a multinational environment are practiced, in order to ensure full readiness of the unit to perform tasks in the area of operation.
In the coming period, the light infantry company is expected to undergo intensive training at the Training Center for Multinational Operations Units, after which a check of the unit's readiness according to the Operational Capabilities Concept will be conducted at a tactical exercise in field conditions.
In the Serbian Armed Forces, in addition to the light infantry company, an engineering company from the Third Army Brigade, two military police platoons and two nuclear-biological-chemical defense platoons from the Army have been declared for deployment in multinational operations.
