Training of Tank Crews

Intensive collective training of professional personnel for the execution of tasks on SAF operations in accordance with the purpose of these units is underway in the Army tank battalions.
Training is conducted in the areas of deployment, training grounds and exercise areas of the Serbian Armed Forces, aiming to maintain and improve the tank crews' abilities to use the M-84 tank in combat and undertake armored and anti-armor actions on combat operations.
During exercise activities, tank crews are supposed to perfect tactical procedures in undertaking offensive and defensive combat actions and receive practical training in driving a tank safely in different terrain, using weapons effectively and maintaining the assemblies and subsystems of this complex combat vehicle.
In the next training stages, tank crews are expected to execute preparatory and school firing, then tactical exercises and live firing, where they will demonstrate their skills in performing the most complex tasks of tank units in winter conditions.
Tank battalions’ constant training ensures that all crews meet the required training standards, which results in a high level of combat readiness of these units responsible for maneuver and strike force on operations conducted by the Serbian Armed Forces.
