Receptions at the General Staff on the Occasion of Military Holidays

On the occasion of the upcoming military holidays, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Major General Petar Cvetković, received today the delegations of the Meteorological and Navigation Service, as well as the Veterinary Service of the Serbian Armed Forces.
In conversation with the delegations, General Cvetković congratulated the holidays and expressed his belief that the members of these services will continue to carry out all tasks in a professional and responsible manner, and provide a full contribution to strengthening the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The Day of the Meteorological and Navigation Service is marked on November 1, in memory of the day when, in 1923, the Meteorological Section of the First Air Command was established in Petrovaradin.
The Day of the Veterinary Service is marked on November 1, in memory of the day when, in 1851, the first Chief of the Veterinary Service was appointed.
