Regular Training of SAF Reserve Component

Soldiers and officers from the reserve component of the Serbian Armed Forces have been undergoing training in the units of the Army and Training Command for several days.
This activity is implemented according to the annual call-up and reserve force training plan aiming at refreshing the knowledge acquired during military service, familiarizing with modern principles governing the use of the units and learning how to operate SAF weapons.
Artillery reservists, scouts, military policemen and reserve personnel of the logistics services are currently undergoing training. In accordance with their military occupational specialties, they are trained in the study rooms and at training grounds to execute branch/service-specific tasks. In addition, all of them go through general contents of close-order drills and physical training and execute planned firing with personal weapons.
Training of the reserve component is carried out in cycles throughout the year in accordance with stated needs of SAF units and approved funds. Its execution improves the skills of reserve soldiers and officers, and thus the Serbian Armed Forces’ overall capabilities to carry out their missions and tasks.
