TO AIR FORCE AND AIR DEFENCE MEMBERS,
ON THE OCCASION OF 24 DECEMBER — THE ARM’S DAY
On behalf of members of the Serbian Armed Forces and personally, I wish to congratulate Air Force and Air Defence members on 24 December — the Arm’s Day.
This year marks the jubilee — 110 years since Chief of Staff of the Supreme Command Field Marshal Radomir Putnik established Air Force, by the Decision dated 24 December 1912 on the establishment of the Air Force Command based in Niš.
It was your expertise and responsible and professional work that ensured that all tasks were executed successfully, and by controlling and protecting the airspace of the Republic of Serbia, you gave full contribution to the preservation of security and sovereignty of our country.
I am confident that you will keep up the good work in the upcoming period, too, enhancing the training activities and strengthening Air Force and Air Defence, that is, the entire Serbian Armed Forces.
I congratulate you on your jubilee, hoping that you will continue with the high-quality and responsible performance of your tasks.
