Training for Conducting Air Force Operations

Members of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade Battalion armed with the artillery-missile system “Pantsir S” is undergoing intense training in carrying out combat actions on a defensive counter-air operation.
The training, during which crews practice combat actions and basic technical maintenance of this system, aims to enhance the capabilities for engagement within permanently deployed forces for the protection of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
The focus is kept on tactical drills performed by combat crews of the command and fighting vehicles, to include refining the procedures and checking the standardized actions for gun emplacement, shifting the system to different levels of combat readiness, replenishment with ammunition and missiles, and elimination of potential failures and breakdowns.
The air defence artillery-missile system “Pantsir S” is one of the best state-of-the-art systems of the kind. Its integration into the air defence system increased the firepower and maneuver capabilities of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade and overall capabilities of the SAF for control and protection of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
