Visit to Tank Units Training at „Orešac“ Training Ground

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has visited today the 2nd Army Brigade Tank Battalion undergoing training at the „Orešac“ Training Ground.
During the visit, the Chief of General Staff attended the M-84 tank crews rehearsals and execution of school firings, and was reassured on that occasion of the tank-crewmen’s high-level competence for accomplishing firing missions.
Along with the Tank Battalion members, the firing has been executed today by General Mojsilović himself in order to improve shape and prepare for live firings in which he intends to participate in the forthcoming period.
Tank crews’ rehearsals at the automated firing range „Orešac“ which is used for armored units’ preparatory and school firings represent this unit’s preparation for live firings and for participation in tactical exercises planned for the year.
In a conversation with the Battalion members following successful execution of firings, General Mojsilović praised their motivation and effort shown in everyday work and training expecting them to keep up the good work so that this unit could preserve and enhance its capabilities for completing all the assigned tasks.
For excellent working results and effort made in combat training tasks, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff took this opportunity to promote the Tank Commander, Sergeant Ivan Zečević, to the rank of Sergeant First Class.
