Visiting Bulgarian Land Forces

At the invitation of the Commander of the Bulgarian Land Forces Major General Mikhail Popov, a delegation of the Serbian Armed Forces Army led by the Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simović visited land forces of that neighbouring country.
During a meeting in Sofia, generals Simović and Popov discussed military cooperation of the two land forces and the possibilities for its advancement. They expressed satisfaction with the successful completion of joint activities, first of all by performing exercises “Platinum Lion”, “Platinum Wolf” and “Lion Country”, as well as an expectation that the existing cooperation will continue and further improve.
During the official visit, the delegation was received by the Chief of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria General Andrey Botsev and also visited the 61st Mechanized Brigade in Karlov.
