Military Oath-Taking Ceremonies

Military oath-taking ceremonies have been held in the Serbian Armed Forces’ barracks in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac today.
The oath has been taken in front of the flag of the Republic of Serbia by soldiers on their voluntary military service since September 2022, cadets from the Military Academy and Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, students of the Reserve Officers Course and Specialized Military High School and reserve personnel who have not performed their military service under arms. Today, they have pledged to protect and defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
Beside relatives and friends of the young women and men who have become part of the defenders of their fatherland today, and numerous guests, the oath-taking ceremony has also been attended by Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, in Leskovac, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, in Valjevo, and Commander of the Training Command, Major General Željko Petrović, in Sombor.
