Tuesday, 27.8.2024 | Multinational Operations
This week, in the European Union Training Mission in Somalia (EUTM Somalia), there has been a replacement of the Serbian Armed Forces’ contingent engaged in this peacekeeping operation.

Our contingent, which will be performing tasks in the Area of Operation for the next six months, consists of a staff officer as Head of the Medical Service in the mission and Medical Team in charge of medical training support and primary health care of the international forces’ members stationed at Mogadishu Airport.

They replaced their fellow doctors and medical technicians who, during their deployment, completed successfully all the tasks of preventive medical care and treatment of the injured and ill members of the forces in the mission, thus confirming the reputation and high opinion of the Serbian Armed Forces’ Medical Service in the international environment.

The Serbian Armed Forces began participating in EUTM Somalia in 2012; more than 120 doctors and medical technicians have been deployed in this mission so far on duties at the HQ and as part of the medical team.
