Training of Soldiers in T-72M Tank Battalion

Regular training of soldiers in the Army tank battalion equipped with modernized T-72MS tanks is being carried out on training grounds and ranges in the wider region of Niš.
Soldiers undergoing training are on voluntary military service of the „September 2021“ class and professional soldiers on duty as drivers and marksmen of the T-72MS tank, who are trained for combat use of this equipment in defense and offensive operations.
During this phase of training, which is conducted on the training ground „Rujnik“, the focus is on practicing tactical actions when performing combat operations in contact with the enemy, with the integration of fire and tactical actions of all crew members, but also on the preparation and conducting of marches and reconnaissance.
Since the introduction of T-72MS tanks in the armament of the Serbian Armed Forces, members of the Tank Battalion have undergone intensive training, and excellent tactical and fire training, demonstrated in numerous exercises in day and night conditions, speaks of high quality training and commitment of unit's professional component.
