Visit to SAF Units in Ground Safety Zone

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević, accompanied by Army Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simović and Head of the SAF GS Operations Directorate (J-3) Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović, has visited SAF members in "Merdare" Base, Ground Safety Zone, today, on Easter.
During today’s visit, Minister Vučević has seen personally that SAF 3rd Army Brigade members are performing professionally and responsibly their tasks of securing the administrative line and controlling the Ground Safety Zone.
Extending his greetings for the happiest Christian holiday, Minister Vučević has pointed out that he is happy to be spending the Easter morning with those who are on their positions every day, preserving the freedom and independence of our country, taking care of and providing security guarantees for all its citizens.
— I am confident that the citizens of Serbia, from the north to the south, from the west to the east, appreciate, love and respect their armed forces. They love, appreciate and respect them because of what they do daily, throughout the year. On holidays also, when we are all with our families, SAF members are on their missions, because they have chosen that kind of vocation. That is their life decision, and something that has to be appreciated and respected. That is the status the SAF deserve to have and Serbia will take care for its military to have everything it needs to be able to perform efficiently its tasks, primarily those related to preserving the freedom and independence of our state — stressed Minister Vučević.
