Soldiers’ Training in Tank Units

Intense training of soldiers performing their military service as of March 2022 and professional soldiers receiving additional training is underway in the Tank Battalion, 1st Army Brigade, Sremska Mitrovica.
This is the M-84 tank crews’ routine training in performing collective assignments delivered to soldiers on their military service and professional soldiers who have recently been admitted to the unit.
During the training, soldiers acquire specific knowledge of the tank, usage and maintenance of the weapons, subsystems and devices, and they go through practical training on this combat asset. Completing successfully their theoretical lessons and training on the trainers, in this period, on training grounds, soldiers practice tactical and fire actions needed for efficient combat use of the tank on operations.
Training of soldiers on military service and professional soldiers is conducted in all SAF units throughout the year. Through additional training, professional soldiers acquire skills needed for their higher branch/service-specific duties, which is a way to improve the units' overall capabilities for performing intended tasks.
