Tour of Electronic Warfare Unit

Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, accompanied by Lt. General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of the SAF General Staff, visited today the Electronic Warfare Centre of the SAF Intelligence and Reconnaissance Department at the Radovan Medić barracks.
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, accompanied by Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, visited the Electronic Warfare Centre of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Department of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff at the Radovan Medić barracks, where he could see for himself high motivation and training level of the personnel in this unique unit of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Commander of the 224th Electronic Warfare Centre, Colonel Zoran Nenadović, briefed on the situation and the tasks that this unit, designed for planning, organising and carrying out all the aspects of electronic warfare, executes.
After the briefing, Minister Vulin and General Mojsilovic attended the presentation of the segments of work of the units for electronic warfare and visited the static display.
Today's visit was attended by Major General Ilija Todorov, Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Želimir Glišović, Head of the Operations Department and Colonel Miroljub Čupić, Head of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Department.
According to its structure and purpose, the Electronic Warfare Centre represents a unique facility within the Serbian Armed Forces. The basic task that this unit performs through continuous control of the electromagnetic spectrum is the detection of potential indicators of the threat to the security of the Republic of Serbia.
