Members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade took part in "Falcon 21" tactical exercise of special units of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Hellenic Armed Forces and the Cypriot National Guard, which was conducted on November 29 at training ranges in the Hellenic Republic.
During the ten-day training, various training contents in the field of special operations were conducted, such as tactical firing in day and night conditions, fighting in urban environment and premises, making passages in barricaded buildings, providing first aid and self-help, medical evacuation, climbing, parachuting and landing from helicopters using different techniques.
In the final segment of the training, a tactical exercise was performed that covered all the contents of the training and showed a high degree of training and coordination of members of the special forces of the participating countries.
"Falcon 21" trilateral exercise officially ends tomorrow with the presentation of certificates of participation and parachute badges for the conducted jumps.
Participation in this and similar exercises improves the capabilities of the SAF special units for the implementation of complex anti-terrorist operations and an effective response to potential challenges, risks and threats, and further strengthens military-military cooperation with the armed forces of partner countries.
