Joint Tactical Exercise Fire Strike 2024

The active phase of Trial Joint Tactical Exercise Fire Strike 2024 is being executed at the Training Ground “Pasuljanske Livade”, involving the practice of combat actions with the use of unmanned aircraft for reconnaissance and fire support.
The general goal of the exercise is to improve the ability to collect and distribute intelligence data and effectiveness of fire support on the modern battlefield, as well as to check the functioning of organization and units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Units of the Army, Air Force and Air Defense, special operations and electronic warfare forces, as well as experts from the Military Technical Institute, are taking part in the exercise. Approximately 1,500 members of the Serbian Armed Forces and more than 300 combat assets are engaged, including those that are in the process of modernization, development and testing for the requirements of the Serbian Armed Forces.
According to the results and observations from the two-week exercise, doctrinal limitations and needs to develop new tactical principles will be determined, possibilities of protection and defense against aerial attacks and simultaneous engagement of various unmanned aircraft will be checked, and the needs to develop new software and hardware solutions will be identified.
