Assistance of Military Doctors to Residents of Loznica and Ražanj

This week, members of the Serbian Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Red Cross, local governments and health centers, implemented the campaign "Military doctor in the village" in the area of Loznica and Ražanj.

This CIMIC project was organized in the villages of Brezjak near Loznica and Smilovac in the vicinity of Ražanj in order to provide medical assistance to residents who have difficulty accessing the health care system.

As part of the action, which was carried out by the medical teams of the 1st Army Brigade and the Mixed Artillery Brigade, general health examinations of the population were carried out, and home visits were organized for patients with poor mobility and immobility. On this occasion, packages with basic food articles provided by the Red Cross were distributed. 

As many times before, the members of the SAF were warmly received by the locals, who on this occasion also expressed their gratitude for their professional attitude and willingness to provide all available help.

The Serbian Armed Forces have previously helped the residents of remote villages in the area of Loznica and Ražanj, as well as in other parts of the Republic of Serbia, and will continue to implement such projects aimed at strengthening cooperation and helping the local population.
