Training in Mixed Artillery Brigade on 152 mm Gun-howitzers

Regular training of the professional component of the Mixed Artillery Brigade on gun-howitzers 152 mm M-84 "Nora" is ongoing in the barracks "Mija Stanimirović" in Niš and at the temporary training ground "Rujnička kosa".
Training in the unit is conducted throughout the year, in order to preserve and improve the ability for effective combat use of this artillery system, and in this phase, members of the unit are practically trained to perform collective tasks.
Special attention is paid to practicing actions and procedures when holding a firing position, timely detection and observation of targets, calculation and proper occupation of elements for firing, as well as the work of services after giving a firing command.
This training period ends with a mobile camp, when the training for performing a wide range of unit tasks will be evaluated at several locations and a tactical exercise with combat firing will be performed.
Gun-howitzer 152 mm M-84 "Nora" is intended for fire support to the Army units in conducting combat operations, by achieving strong, fast and precise fire on targets at long distances.
