Successful Performance of the Serbian Armed Forces at the International Military Games

"International Military Games 2021" closed today with a formal closing ceremony in the Patriot Park near Moscow in the Russian Federation.
This year's International Military Games were held from August 23 to September 4 on the territory of Russia and 10 co-organizing countries, including Serbia for the first time. At this prestigious competition, teams from 42 countries participated in the competition in 34 disciplines, and members of the Serbian Armed Forces competed in five disciplines.
The greatest success was achieved by the team of the Serbian Armed Forces in the discipline "Guardian of Order", held in our country for the first time, winning a gold medal in the competition of military police teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran, Cyprus and Qatar.
Excellent results were achieved by military drivers in the discipline "Military Rally" who won seven medals — bronze in the team race, silver and bronze in the race with live fire, as well as one silver and three bronze medals in individual races in the category of non-combat vehicles "Kamaz” and “Ural”.
Tankers who participated in the Alabino range in the discipline "Tank Biathlon" achieved placement in the semifinals of this competition, in a very strong competition of teams from 19 countries, while in the discipline "Sniper Frontier" held in Belarus, our team took the sixth place in the total placement.
Representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces also won three significant awards — one first and two third places in the "Army of Culture" competition, which presented the history, tradition and national culture, music and folklore of the participating countries.
