Victory Day Gun Salute

By order of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, members of the Guard fired a gun salute from Kalemegdan’s Sava Terrace, to mark May 9 — Victory over Fascism Day.
The ceremony at which ten rounds were fired from six guns by the guardsmen was attended by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Nemanja Starović, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković and Guard Commander Brigadier General Nikola Dejanović.
Prior to the gun salute, the flag was raised, the Serbian national anthem was played and President Vučić’s orders for the gun salute to be given were read.
