Open Competition for Admission of Civilian Candidates to NCO Course

The Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces have announced a public competition for training civilian candidates at the NCO Course for admission to professional military service as NCOs for an indefinite period.
Interested young men and women can apply for 200 NCO jobs in the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Armed Forces, within the following branches and services: infantry, artillery, air defense artillery-missile units, as well as armored units, telecommunications service, quartermaster service, ASEWG service and for several technical service specialties (motor engineering, aviation technical, weapons, ordnance and telecommunications).
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia age 18+, who completed four-year secondary education or are attending the fourth grade of their high school, who were born in 1989 or later and are physically, mentally and medically fit, regardless of whether they performed military service with weapons or not, can apply.
The trainees have a secure financial income during the training, which lasts six months .
The selection procedure follows the elimination principle and includes psychological assessment, a physical fitness test, a medical-health assessment, a committee interview and a security background check.
The selected candidates will be sent for a six-month course to the NCO Training Center “Sergeant Milunka Savić” in Pančevo, as well as to the Training Command’s specialist training centers and units of the Serbian Armed Forces. Upon successful completion of the course, the candidates become eligible for admission to professional military service and promotion to the rank of sergeant.
