Tour of 72nd Special Operations Brigade

Today, Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović have visited the 72nd Special Operations Brigade at the “Rastko Nemanjić“ Barracks in Pančevo.
On that occasion, the purpose, tasks and history of the unit were presented to Minister Gašić, and after that, part of the capabilities of members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and weapons and military equipment they have at their disposal.
Emphasizing that it is a great honor and pleasure for him that he has had the opportunity to visit the members of the 72nd Brigade and talk with them today, the Minister of Defense has said that that unit is one of the best in our country.
— The Republic of Serbia and its citizens can be calm, because their safety and security is taken care of by the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, whose members are ready to defend their country at any moment. Therefore, filling this brigade with personnel is one of our priorities. Young, brave, bold, interested in working in elite, special force units, everyone who wants to prove responsibility and patriotism should apply to the ongoing competition and test themselves and their capabilities, in order to be among the chosen ones - said Minister Gašić.
The Minister of Defense has emphasized that in the coming period, work will be done on equipping further the unit and creating even better working conditions.
Today’s tour has been attended by Head of the Operations Directorate (J-3) of the General Staff Major General Tiosav Janković, Head of the Office of the Minister of Defense Brigadier General Goran Momčilović and Head of the Office of the Chief of the General Staff Colonel Slađan Hristov.
