Sniper of the Serbian Armed Forces Wins the Gold Medal

Lance Corporal of the Serbian Armed Forces Ivan Obrenović has won the first place in the competition of mixed sniper pairs from 21 countries at the International Military Games in Belarus.
Lance Corporal Obrenović, member of the Special Brigade, competed in pair with a member of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin extended congratulations to Lance Corporal Obrenović on the achieved result.
This is the second time that a team of the Serbian Armed Forces has competed in the event “Sniper Frontier” which is held near the town of Brest in Belarus. Let us remind you that last year in the competition of mixed sniper pairs, Second Lieutenant Đorđe Lapčević won the first place in the competition of 18 mixed sniper pairs.
“Sniper Frontier” is one of 32 events at this year’s International Military Games which are taking place simultaneously at 21 training areas in 10 countries from 3rd to 17th August: Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and Uzbekistan. The number of participants is more than 5000, classified in 223 teams which come from 39 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, Central and Latin America.
