"Griffons" Special Operations Battalion Training
Friday, 2.7.2021 | Training
Members of the Battalion for Special Operations "Griffons" from the 72nd Special Operations Brigade are conducting physical training for the implementation of assigned tasks.
This is advanced summer training of special units in climbing, diving and independent feeding in nature, which maintains and improves the ability to perform tasks in all ground and weather conditions.
At the climbing training, members of the unit improve their movement and climbing techniques in the mountains, crossing water obstacles and rescuing the injured on difficult terrain. During the diving training, underwater tasks are trained at depths of up to 40 meters, while within the self-feeding in nature, "Griffons" are trained to survive in conditions when regular food supply is difficult or impossible.
The large number of complex tasks and the variety of actions performed by the 72nd Special Operations Brigade require significant physical readiness and mental strength from its members, which is why the unit conducts intensive training every day to preserve and improve the ability to perform special operations and actions in all ground, weather and combat conditions.
