Cadet Internship at the Technical Overhaul Institute "Čačak"

In the Technical Overhaul Institute "Čačak", the internship of the cadets of the 142nd class of the Military Academy in the field of military mechanical engineering, weapons module is in progress.

This is an internship during which cadets of the final year of studies acquire practical knowledge necessary for conducting initial officer duties in units and institutions of the Serbian Armed Forces.

In accordance with the subject plan, the experts of this eminent military institution introduced the cadets with the history, mission and tasks of the Institute, as well as technologies and capacities for the maintenance of weapons and military equipment.

During internship, cadets will have an opportunity to get acquainted with construction, technical and technological documentation in real conditions, as well as with assortment of weapons, technological procedures and equipment. In addition to the above, they will be shown the work processes during the overhaul of equipment and weapons, chemical laboratory, modern devices and tools, as well as the technology of maintenance of sighting and optical devices.

The significance of the visit to the Technical Overhaul Institute "Čačak" is reflected in the practical application of knowledge acquired by the cadets at the Military Academy, primarily in the field of overhaul of equipment and weapons and production of spare parts, which will be invaluable during the work on their final papers.
