Visit to SAF Units in Požarevac Garrison

Accompanied by his staff, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has visited today part of SAF units located in Požarevac Garrison.
At "General Pavle Jurišić Šturm" Barracks, General Mojsilović inspected how the life and work had been organized at the Army Training Centre, as well as conditions, operational and functional capabilities and training facilities in this Training Command unit.
The unit's professional members attended a briefing on SAF focal tasks, plans for further capability-building and measures taken to improve the status and financial position of SAF personnel.
Continuing his visit, General Mojsilović saw some segments of tactical training the Basic NCO Course participants go through at "Peskovi" Training Ground. NCO Training Centre "Sergeant Milunka Savić" is the place where these professional soldiers are trained for their initial SAF NCO duties.
Addressing the future NCOs, Chief of the General Staff praised them for working hard during the training and fulfilling their obligations professionally. He stressed that they were expected to be making maximum effort to meet the high standards and gain necessary knowledge and skills they would apply soon as SAF officers upon completion of the course.
