Live Firing from SAF Aircraft

There has been live firing this week across Training Ground "Pasuljanske Livade" as part of routine combat training of SAF aviation units which involved engaging ground targets.
This is the final segment of this training cycle delivered to the 98th Air Forces Brigade Flight Component, whose successful execution increased additionally the unit’s combat readiness to provide air support to Army forces.
In the daytime and at night, the "Eagle", "H-145M", "Mi-35", "Mi-8" and "Gama" crews fired at the targets simulating armored units and dot-targets in the enemy lines. They used guided and unguided missiles and guns, neutralizing successfully the stipulated targets and showing excellent tactical and fire capabilities.
Today, the activity has been attended by Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović, accompanied by the Air Force and Air Defence Commander, who was able to see well-planned and performed training and that this week’s firing objectives had been reached in their entirety.
Reminding that the Brigade’s technical component in charge of proper functioning and arming of the aircraft could also be credited with successful training, General Mojsilović recognized the flight crews for their accuracy and excellent skills and announced further investments in SAF Air Force.
