Training of Serbian Armed Forces IT Service

At the IT and Signals Training Centre, Gornji Milanovac, members of the IT service are currently being trained in using and maintaining information systems which have been in operational use in the Serbian Armed Forces.
Training is intended for officers and civilians working on geographic and command and information systems developed in support of command and control in the defence system.
According to the training program, training of personnel involves establishing and maintaining information services, security and data protection and administration of IT systems developed by experts from the Telecommunications and Information Technology Directorate (J-6) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff and its subordinate units.
Training of IT service keeps up with modern trends and latest findings in the field of information technologies and is fully tailored to SAF requirements. Upon completion of the training, SAF will receive another class of competent specialists, fully trained in information systems’ maintenance and administration.
