Support in Capacity Building for Demining Training

Representatives of the United States Office of Defence Cooperation in Belgrade handed over valuable IT equipment to the 310th Engineering Battalion of the 3rd Army Brigade in the middle of this month.
This is a donation from a project implemented by the US Department of Defence Cooperation with the aim of improving the capacity of the Republic of Serbia for humanitarian demining.
The equipment will be used to improve the quality of training of members of the platoon for demining and the destruction of unexploded ordnance, as well as training in courses in this unit for instructors and medical staff in the field of demining.
Implementation of the donation is a follow-up to successful cooperation with the US Armed Forces in the field of humanitarian demining and contributes to further improving the capacity of the Serbian Armed Forces to remove and destroy unexploded ordnance in accordance with international standards.
