Day of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade

Military ceremony was held today in the barracks "Banjica" in Belgrade, on the occasion of the Day of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade, which is celebrated on November 24 in memory of the day when, in 1962, the 250th Air Defence Missile Regiment was established.
As part of the ceremony, after the parade of brigade units, the results of the work in the previous period were summarized, awards were presented to the most prominent individuals and wreaths were laid at the memorial in the barracks.
The celebration of the holiday was an opportunity to once again highlight the high level of training of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade personnel, which was confirmed by the live firing of targets in the airspace in Bulgaria and joint tactical exercises conducted in the previous year.
Members of the 250th Missile Brigade today also marked the Patron Saint of the unit, the Holy Martyr Stefan Dečanski.
