Meeting with Envoy of Prime Minister of Great Britain to Western Balkans

Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has met with special envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Western Balkans Lord Stuart Peach, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
During the meeting at the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, they discussed the challenges, risks and threats to security in the region and the world and the situation in Kosovo and Metohija. The meeting was also attended by British Ambassador to Belgrade His Excellency Edward Ferguson.
General Mojsilović has pointed out that the Serbian Armed Forces are open to cooperation with all partners, while respecting the policy of military neutrality of the Republic of Serbia, assessing that joint military activities, primarily those related to education, training and exercises, contribute to building operational capabilities of the armed forces, but also mutual trust and overall state relations.
He has stressed that the Serbian Armed Forces, as a credible and reliable partner, adhere consistently to the Military-Technical Agreement and that, in accordance with Resolution 1244 and all signed agreements, the Republic of Serbia considers the international security presence in Kosovo and Metohija as the only guarantor of security of Serbian population in our southern province.
