ON THE OCCASION OF NOVEMBER 16 — SERVICE DAY

As members of the most numerous and oldest service of the military and as descendants of heroes from Suvobor, you are continuing a tradition of more than a century and looking to the future, confirming the traditional values of the Serbian soldier, uniting them with modern ones.
By ensuring peace and stability in the south of Serbia and the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija, you make a special contribution to security in the region, and by deployment in multinational operations, you greatly contribute to strengthening the reputation of the Serbian Armed Forces and our country in the world.
The results achieved are evidence of your determination to honorably, responsibly and professionally carry out assigned tasks. May the perseverance, determination and iron will of the hero of the Battle of Kolubara be an additional source of motivation and guidance in your further work on completing tasks.
