Tactical Training in Armored Reconnaissance Battalion

As part of regular training needed to perform intended tasks, members of the Armored Reconnaissance Battalion are undergoing tactical training in a wider field of intelligence security of the Army.
Training is being carried out at the exercise area in Niš and its surroundings with the aim of sustaining and improving the ability of scouts to collect intelligence as well as providing additional training for professional soldiers who have recently been appointed to the unit.
In this phase of field training scouts practice tactical actions and procedures and how to use the equipment for observation and data collection, as well as how to organize and execute scout patrols, raids and ambushes. In addition to reconnaissance tasks, professional soldiers of critical specialties are also trained to handle properly and safely armored reconnaissance vehicles and use them in combat in all conditions.
Continuous training by members of the Serbian Armed Forces throughout the year is crucial for preserving the ability of the Armored Reconnaissance Battalion to perform all intended tasks in different tactical, weather and terrain conditions and provide reliable and verified intelligence data, which are of immeasurable importance for the success of SAF operations.
