Display of New Weapons and Military Equipment for the Serbian Armed Forces

Today, at the training range of the Technical Test Centre in Nikinci, a display of modern weapons and military equipment was held, which is being introduced into the units of the Serbian Armed Forces and where soldiers and officers from the units that will be equipped with these equipment are now being trained.
As part of today's activities, which were attended by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, tests were also carried out on some of the assets that are in the final phase for introduction into the armament of the Serbian Armed Forces.
These are new assets developed by the Military Technical Institute and factories of the domestic defence industry, which will be used to equip special, infantry, armored and artillery units and Air Force and Air Defence units.
The introduction of new complex combat systems, small arms, optoelectronic devices and other equipment into the arsenal will significantly improve the capabilities and overall combat readiness of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The equipment is implemented in accordance with the directive of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić from 2022.
The activities carried out at the "Nikinci" range were attended by Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, Ph.D., Chief of the Operations Directorate (J-3), Major General Tiosav Janković, Chief of the Logistics Directorate (J-4), Major General Srđan Petković, Chief of the Development and Equipment Directorate (J-5), Brigadier General Milan Popović and Chief of the Defence Technologies Department of the Material Resources Sector, Brigadier General Slavko Rakić.
