Senior Officers of Serbian Armed Forces’ and Hungarian Defense Forces’ Participated in Sporting Event

A traditional sports competition between generals and high-ranking officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defense Forces has been held at the Sports Center of the Football Association of Serbia in Stara Pazova, today.
Our team and Hungarian team had a futsal match in a sport-loving and friendly atmosphere, and this time the winner was the Serbian Armed Forces’ team.
The host team was led by Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, and the visiting one by Chief of the Training Directorate of the Hungarian Defense Forces General Staff, Brigadier General Gábor Sánta.
This has been the 16th sports tournament featuring SAF and HDF generals and senior officers, staged alternately in Serbia and Hungary since 2015.
Sports competitions are only one type of numerous bilateral activities in the field of defense aiming to improve operational capabilities and interoperability and strengthen mutual confidence, which is in keeping with the upward course in the Serbia - Hungary relations.
