President of Republic Issues Decrees on Promotion and Appointment of Officers

Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić has issued decrees on promotion and appointment to new duties of the Serbian Armed Forces’ officers.
The decrees have been handed over by Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić in the presence of Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović today. They congratulated the officers on promotion and appointment to new duties and wished them success in their professional careers.
Director of the Military Security Agency Major General Đuro Jovanić was regularly promoted to the rank of lieutenant general, while Colonel Vladan Milosavljević, Commander of the 3rd Army Brigade, was promoted to the rank of brigadier general.
Major General Srđan Petković was extraordinarily promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and appointed to the position of Director of the Defense Inspectorate. Brigadier General Saša Petrović was promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed as Head of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
Colonel Ivan Krulj was extraordinarily promoted to the rank of brigadier general and appointed to the position of Commander of the 608th Logistics Base.
Colonel Dragan Mrdak was appointed Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Air Defense Command, while Colonel Aleksandar Milićević was appointed Commander of the 98th Air Force Brigade.
