Sports Competition between Serbian and Hungarian Generals and Senior Officers

A traditional sporting event has taken place inside the Sports and Business Center Vojvodina in Novi Sad today involving generals and high-ranking officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defence Forces.
This is the 14th futsal competition of this kind held alternately in Serbian and Hungarian pitches since 2015 with the aim of strengthening mutual confidence and good neighborly relations.
At today’s match, the guests were led by Brigadier General Gábor Sánta, while the head of our team was Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović.
As usual, the game was played in a fair and friendly atmosphere, the score itself being less important. This time, the Serbian Armed Forces’ team has won the contest 2:1.
Sporting events between generals and high-ranking officers represent one of the numerous activities of intense and comprehensive cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defence Forces, characterized by constant qualitative improvement and going hand in hand with exceptional overall relations between our two countries.
