Serbian AVPD takes over the duty in mission Atalanta

The ceremony in the port of Djibouti, yesterday marked transfer of duties of autonomous vessel protection detachments to protect ships in the mission Atalanta. Serbian autonomous team took over securing of the ship "Caroline Scan" of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Special Brigade, Brigadier General Ilija Todorov and Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre, Colonel Milivoje Pajović.

The ship will set sail during the week to the ports of Berbera and Bosaso in Somalia.
