Meeting with Commander of Allied Joint Force Command Naples

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has spoken with Commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples, the U.S. Armed Forces’ Admiral Stuart B. Munsch in Belgrade today.
The discussion at the meeting covered the current security situation in the region and the world, modalities of cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and JFC Naples, and the prospects for development of the overall relations.
With the assessment that the established relations are professional, constructive, contributing to peace and stability in the region, the willingness of both sides to improve cooperation in the areas of common interest was expressed.
It has been established that the existing mechanisms of cooperation enable further improvement of the overall relations with full respect for the military neutrality of the Republic of Serbia.
Having in mind that the International Security Forces in Kosovo and Metohija are under the responsibility of JFC Naples, a significant part of the conversation addressed the state of security in our southern province.
Admiral Munsch will also be received by Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić today.
