Regular Training of River Flotilla Divers

On the section of the Danube river near Novi Sad, the divers of the River Flotilla perform regular training and conditioning these days, which include a series of demanding activities on and underwater.
Divers first realize training diving in a hyperbaric chamber, and then on the river training contents that include diving on isobaths and inspection of the underwater part of the ship's hull.
River Flotilla divers perform training all year round. During winter, due to especially low temperatures, they dive two to three times a week, and in the summer every day.
In addition to training for performing dedicated tasks, the diving company of the River Flotilla also runs courses for light divers to man the unit and for the Serbian Armed Forces needs.
