The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović has extended his greetings to members of the Aeronautical Institute “Moma Stanojlović” on the occasion of July 1 — the Day of the institute.
GREETINGS TO MEMBERS OF THE AERONAUTICAL INSTITUTE “MOMA STANOJLOVIĆ” ON THE OCCASION OF JULY 1 — THE DAY OF THE INSTITUTION
On behalf of members of the Serbian Armed Forces and myself, I extend my greetings to all members of the Aeronautical Institute “Moma Stanojlović” on July 1 — the Day of the institute.
You celebrate the holiday to commemorate July 1, 1916, when in the Serbian military an Aeroplan Workshop was formed at the Mikra airport near Thessaloniki.
With your expertise and persistence during a long period of existence, you have grown into a military institution whose name left a mark at almost every continent.
By improving production capacities in the field of overhaul, repair and testing of aircraft and aircraft parts you give an invaluable contribution to the maintenance of the operational capabilities of the Air Force and Air Defence and the Defence System as a whole.
I extend my greetings to you and hope you will continue accomplishing your tasks in the future.
