Success of the Members of the Serbian Armed Forces at Semi-Marathon in Novi Sad

At 26th Semi-marathon of Novi Sad, held in the streets of that town, the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces achieved great success in the competition of more than 1300 athletes from 25 countries.
The first competitor in the male competition who reached the finish line of this demanding event, in one hour and 17 minutes and 33 seconds was Corporal Miroslav Marković from the Training Command, while the second place was won by Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Milosavljević from the Department for Training and Doctrine of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Apart from the semi-marathon, a relay marathon was held of the same length where the most successful were the members of the Special Brigade.
The success of the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces was made complete by cadet Marina Radovanović who was the first in the female competition to run through the finish line of the race “The Quart of the Marathon” which was 10.548km long.
The total of 118 members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces took part in this year’s 26th Marathon of Novi Sad.
