First Medals for Military Drivers at the International Military Games

Serbian Armed Forces drivers won one silver and one bronze medal at the "Military Rally" competition, one of the 34 disciplines of the International Military Games, which is being held in Kyzyl in the far east of the Russian Federation.
In the individual races, in the "Ural" 6x6 vehicle category, the silver medal was won by the crew consisting of sergeant Miloš Četrović and corporal Ivan Milošević, and the bronze in the "Kamaz" 4x4 category was won by the team consisting of sergeant major Miroslav Ljiljak and master corporal Goran Stanković.
After the individual races, the drivers of the Serbian Armed Forces expect to compete in the race with live fire and finally in the team race. All races are conducted in different terrain conditions, and the competitors receive route information only before the start, loaded into the navigation devices, through which the judges monitor the details of the race and the speed of the vehicle. Non-combat vehicles in the 4x4 and 6x6 "Kamaz" and "Ural" categories are used in the competition, while 4x4 GAZ-2330 "Tiger" military vehicles are used for the live fire race.
Apart from the Serbian Armed Forces team, teams from the armed forces of Israel, Mongolia, China, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Russia are also competing for medals in the "Military Rally" discipline.
This year, teams from 42 countries are participating in the prestigious competition International Military Games, and members of the Serbian Armed Forces are also competing in the disciplines "Guardian of Order", "Tank Biathlon", "Sniper Border" and "Army of Culture".
