Offensive Actions Training in 63rd Parachute Brigade

In interoperability with a helicopter Air Force and Air Defence unit, the 63rd Parachute Brigade’s combat teams are undergoing regular training for undertaking offensive actions against enemy combat disposition elements.
The training activity is carried out for the purpose of training professional staff, training additionally young soldiers and officers and sustaining the unit’s high combat readiness to accomplish assigned missions and tasks.
Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has visited the Brigade members at the Military Airfield “Sergeant-Pilot Mihajlo Petrović” and the area surrounding Niš where they are temporarily based.
On this occasion, he attended paratroopers’ vertical maneuver training with different techniques using a rope, with and without additional support, and then observed the training of teams of parachute companies for conducting offensive actions, including silent liquidation, placing explosive charges and CASEVAC by air.
Following the tour, the Chief of the General Staff has expressed his satisfaction with the current state of affairs, the shown competence and organization of training as well as the interoperability with Air Force units, assessing that members of the 63rd Parachute Brigade are rightfully proud of their skills, attitude towards tasks, high morale and their unit.
