Visit to SAF Forces in Ground Safety Zone

Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, has visited today “Merdare” Base and “Veliki Trn” Base in the Ground Safety Zone.
On that occasion, General Cvetković examined the conditions and organization of life and work in these bases and responsibilities of the 3rd Army Brigade where he saw personally that members of the unit possessed excellent skills in controlling the Ground Safety Zone and securing the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija.
Concluding his visit, General Cvetković praised the soldiers and officers engaged in these bases for the shown skills and professional attitude to their obligations, stressing that their competence and high morale were a guarantee of a successful execution of all tasks and security of the citizens in this part of the Republic of Serbia.
